The bookcase has nice dark espresso finish to it. As with particle boards, the material is not sturdy that the edges can chip easily. The assembly took about 30 minutes, had someone help me because it is quite tall for me to lift it alone. Unless you are going for the solid wood bookcase which runs for 400 this one has the nice look with good price.

Service Review

Has two boxes wrapped. The edge is cracked and dented during the delivery, but its at high top corner so hard to notice unless you stare and glare.

This is sturdy, attractive and NOT made in China. My husband put it together in less than half an hour. Provides plenty of shelf space without making it hard to maneuver in an already small room or obstructing the few electrical outlets. An excellent -- and inexpensive -- solution.
