South Shore Axess Small Desk

The assembly was fairly easy, instructions well layed out, parts labeled for easy identification. Looks nice, good size for my 6 year old daughter. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is drawer slides and keyboard pull out slides are a little sticky.

The value of this desk is awesome!!! I was really expecting it to be lightweight and flimsy. Not the case. The desk has some weight to it which lets you know it will stick around for longer than a year of school. The only downside to it, which you should expect because of the price, is you need to improvise a little while putting it together. A couple of the pieces that should have been there weren't so I used what I had in my toolbox. I used wood glue as well to make sure the joints would hold and not come apart after using the desk for awhile. The directions were a little vague but if you have any sense what-so-ever you should be good. My son is in 4th grade and uses this desk every day!!!!!! I had reservations about buying it because of the price, but I am so glad I gave it a try. Great for the price!!!!

I expect to get a nice desk for my son. The box came with damage, I still thinking may be not inside but when my husband open the box, he found there's damage on the top of the table like 2 inch wide, and also another damage on the sliding drawer. I don't have a time to complaint this desk. I'm not happy with this first order.

This item will meet my needs, but was hard to assimble and took a complete morning to complete.

I love my desk, it's perfect for a small working space. The directions are a little difficult but overall very pleased.

Delivery was quick. what I didn't like the box was kind of squished, and when I open it the the top have a little chip on the corner.

This desk is smaller than I thought but is perfect for our child and should last him through high school. For the price, it is a good desk, just nothing to hand down in the future.

Finally arrived after the first order was not what I ordered. The desk took 2 hours to put together and the instructions were fairly straightforward to follow as long as you used the illustrations and not the written instructions. The draw was tricky to get lined up and fitted into the runners. Only complaint is the color was not accurately shown on the website. In real life it is darker than shown. Once assembled it was a nice little desk and very unobtrusive adequate draw and shelf space.

delivery was good but the tracking system was not updated each day which lead to delivery before I expected it. Good job I was home when it arrived.
