I had to buy other screws, glue and repair plates to hold the top and bottom together. Made for some trial and error and retracing of steps. Other than that its a very nice and STURDY bookcase and looks first-rate. Some people complained about it getting scratched easily. Once finished the bookcases (I ordered 2) were sturdy and looked like the more expensive bookcases that I had seen in the furniture stores at twice the price. I am very satisfied.
