The bookcase is good looking and has a solid feel to it. All construction holes were lined up properly to construct the pieces in a reasonable time.

Got two of these. They are sturdy and a good value for the price range. A couple of the trim parts were received damaged (probably happened in shipping), but Sauder has a painless online process to get replacements that were delivered quickly. Takes a while to assemble, but the result is a lot stronger than some of the competing snap together products.

This product does the job storage wise and looks pretty good, but after 1 month the faux wood paper finish has come unglued. I knew I was buying a cheaper quality product but had no idea the finish was actually a paper thin layer of faux wood. After 1 month the paper has come off. I am hoping I can salvage this with some glue. I also am starting to think that the humidity in Florida is starting to be absorded into the whole unit which will render this unusable some day. Kinda sad seeing that I liked the look of it. This may be fine quality if you don't live in humidity or I just got a lemon :(
