We were pleasantly surprised at how well this furniture turned out. Having arrived in many pieces it looked as though we might have made a mistake. However, 2 hours later we had a sturdy, attractive piece of furniture. The color is a little darker than portrayed on the website but, other than that, it is a very good facsimile.

I ORDERED 2 OF THESE, AND AFTER PUTTING THEM TOGETHER, MY WIFE SAID GET ANOTHER ONE, SO WE NOW HAVE 3 AND BOY DO THEY LOOK EXPENSIVE. SAUDER HAS THEIR ACT TOGETHER. VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER.

Exactly as advertised

[...] My 11 year old son put them together in the middle of the living room floor with out any adult help. I bought 2 of these and put them side by side in the dining room to hold books, and the kids' games. They nicely match my expensive dining room table set. Biggest down fall would be that there needed to be glue and a few more screws to make the shelving completely sturdy, but not a big deal. Overall a very nice product for the money.

The shelf is nice for the price. The color received is totally different from the color pictured (darker brown) and it doesn't match the furniture that we bought it for, but we're using it in another room. It looks nice at a distance, but be warned that the "solid" back piece is actually cardboard with perforated holes (for cords to go through I assume)?? For the price, however, it's a good buy.
