Safco Products Scoot Double Sided Six Shelf Book Cart in Black

This is just what we were looking for.

Used for heavy hymnals. Very sturdy, mobile,reliable.

This is probably our 8th time we have purchased this cart to add to our fleet of after school classroom carts.

For the price, it is a decent library cart. [...] We bought 2 because we need to deal with a large book collection in renovating our home. It is not unattractive, but very difficult for a person with only 2 hands to assemble. When our renovation is complete, we intend to donate one of our 2 to our church's library.

I will be using this cart to store/move small books. Because of the way this cart is assembled, I classify it as light duty. I can see problems with the cart becoming wobbly if it is loaded up and pushed across carpeting. Assembly is difficult if you don't do assembly work on a normal basis. Foreseeing the potential problems, I modified the shelf mounts by drilling and using through bolts instead of the sheetmetal screws supplied. This sturdied the cart immensly and I know that I won't have future problems with instability.

An excellent product, at a reasonable price, that was a CHALLENGE to assemble.

One corner had a paint chip when it arrived. I have not used it yet because I am waiting for a stronger person to tighten up the screws.

Fantastic product. We plan to get another as we cannot stop buying books.

The book cart is exactly what we were looking for. The weight of the books may be a little much for it because it seems a little wobbly. But, it suits our purpose.
