Hokku Designs Zac Bookcase/Display Stand

This bookshelf looks great once it is put together. It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were spelled out well. The only thing I do not like is that they give you stickers to cover up the some of the hardware, which is great, but some of them keep falling off. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase!!

I got the camel colored which I like, but the colors aren't as vibrant as the website photo. (It's melamine with a photograph of woodgrain.) It's still nice. I turned it sideways and put legs on it to make it a sofa table height room divider, and it looks great.

I saw a similar bookcase on the daily Joss & Main email I get and fell in love the design. I ended up needing a bit more bookcase then the style Joss & Main had a sale on so I found the Zac bookcase and it works perfectly. The box it was delivered in was pretty big so you'll need some help to move it and to put this thing together. It took a little over an hour to assemble with 2 people. I put the bookcase on it's side so it's about 3 feet tall and 80" wide. It looks awesome and is sturdy. I might buy a Hokku Designs kitchen table next.

Nice looking and very sturdy!

We've put it in our kitchen, to store everything from pottery bowls to cook books to kids' craft supplies. Lots of space and lots of style. I was a bystander when it came to putting it together, but it seemed pretty straight-forward to assemble (i.e. there was now cursing during the process).

I am extremely pleased with these bookshelves. There are many pieces and screws but my son did not find it diffficult to build. The shelves are sturdy and I love the black finish. They really are a beautiful addition in my living room.

This bookcase has so much more character than a plain boring one! [...] was VERY easy to assemble. (I did it all by myself.)

Product Review

The shelves are more solid than the main frame of the unit itself, oddly enough, but overall a very nice piece.

Service Review

One side piece arrived damaged, and was replaced easily and immediately by customer service.
