Yes it is a little loud but for the price you can only handle having it on for a little while and not going to leave it on all day. I would just let everyone know when putting the arms on do not tighten any of the screws very tightly unntil you have all of the screws started treaded, I would have finished putting it together in about 20 minutes had i done this first and not had to go back after getting frustrated and doing it.
