Workmanship, fit, and finish is A+. There were no scratches, dents or other imperfections in any of the pieces. All the parts fit perfectly. No parts were missing. The cable routing channels are a bit flimsy, but, hay, they do the job. Color: Trying to determine what the finish will actually look like is a bit of a challenge. So off to Staples I went to see if a floor sample might give me a clue. No such luck. However, they did have color sample leaflets and also some actual samples for Staples furniture which appeared to be the same as for this desk and which turned out to be the case. So, I was able to see exactly what "light cherry" looks like -- the finish looks exactly like the Staples sample. Assembly: The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, although I elected to put the top on after the base was assembled and upright. This was a bit of a challenge doing it by myself since the top is Very Heavy. I Highly recommend two people to get it up on the base if you do it this way. In any case, be careful of the edges since rough handling (dragging, bumping, scraping) could easily damage the finish. The feet are easy to adjust, although I elected to turn them all the way in since it's on thick carpet and I prefer to have the weight distributed along the entire length of the base -- it seems to have "settled in" with no significant warping/distortion due to the bit of uneveness of the floor. Use: It's sturdy. I've got a printer and scanner in each corner, and speakers,and a PC screen in the middle and there is no apparent bowing -- don't know if I'd try standing in the middle of it :) The desk top has a cable-through hole in each corner and a plastic insert is provided for each hole. The inserts stick up about 1/8th inch so I had to remove them so my printer and scanner would sit flat The finish seems to be doing well, although I've only had the desk for a month or so....time will tell. I like that I can put a cup of coffee directly on it without damage (so far :) Over all, I'm very please with the desk! A+

Service Review

Delivery was quick and painless. The folks brought the package to my front door and it had no signs of damage. But be prepared -- it's heavy! I used a dolly and my house is on a slab so I only had to go up about six inches to get inside and then roll it a few feet. If you have any steps at all to vavigate, you will, for sure, need help -- and taking it in piece by piece won't help either because the top is really, really heavy and could be danaged easily trying to get it in by yourself. If you don't have help available, you may want to pay the delivery folks a few bucks to help you get it to its "final destination".

Product Review

I am currently using this desk as a video editing console. It is wide enough for two screens and studio speakers. Convenient cable ports on top and sides of the desk make cable routing more flexible. Having no drawers, it offers an abundance of space under the desk for computers, subwoofer, or whatever else you fancy. Fit and finish is very good. Unit is easy to assemble.

Service Review

Delivery was faster than expected. Product arrived with minor damage to rear corner of the table top. Customer service immediately offered a replacement but I chose to keep the unit anyway. Shop with confidence, customer care is excellent.

I'm very happy with my puchase except that the wire trays arrived smashed.

My mom bought this for me for a mere 20 bucks years ago (retail store was trying to get rid of them and obviously no one knew how much they were worth). I didn't know either until I moved out of the house and wanted one for myself again. Wow. This table/desk was amazing for me. I'm a PC gamer and this was perfection. There is tons of space for when I did my homework or small projects. I felt like I could think better whenever I used this table. Smooth surface. Table is deep, plenty of room. Simple. Clean. Sturdy. I don't think I'll ever buy a table that will be better than this one. If you want to feel like the master pc gaming, late night coding, calculus homework, or anything else that'll fit on a desk then I shall demand that you purchase this heavenly product IMMEDIATELY. You're welcome ;)

I bought this for my teenager's (small) room so he could put two computers on it. He has chairs with adjustable height arms; this allows him to push them up completely flush to the table and saves room. I highly recommend these desks. I looked at a smaller one in the store and they are very sturdy. I expect it to last for a long time. The desk it very nice looking, as well, with your choice of many finishes.
