Great Desk but difficult to assemble Nice desk and attractive for the price. Down side is very unclear directions, total assembly took 8 hours. Spent 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out how to assemble the slide out keyboard. Be prepared to be frustrated trying to assemble. |

desk I LOVE the desk. It looks great and went up well. The only trouble I had was fitting the two desktops together. I put the entire desk together myself, however, when it came to this, it took three of us and Ivory soap on the screws to get them into the desktop at all and then it took a lot more work to make it even and level. Everything else was SO easy, but the holes weren't in the right place and the screws wouldn't go in without a fight. It was a bit difficult hooking up my computer through the small hole in the back, but it was nice to have the cord opening on the side also. My CPU gets hot if I close the door, so it's open unless we have company. Maybe there is some way it could be built to make the back of the tower cabinet unnecessary and it would keep it cooler and be easier to set up. Now that I have it together, it's wonderful. |

Watch out for those screws! Nice desk for the price. Looks just like the picture. But they don't label the screws very well and I ended up using ones just a tiny bit long to put the faces on the drawers, resulting in bumps where on the drawer faces where the screw almost came through. :( There's quite a bit of assembly involved --the packing material (flat foam) makes a great base for the assembling process so you don't scratch your new desk. |

Perfect for what we needed. I liked the desk so much I bought the matching TV stand. Bought this for a game room/office, so we didn't want something too big. It's just the right size for what we needed. Directions were easy to follow, just took a little time. Thanks, Pam |
